Regulations

F-gas leak checks

Operators of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment containing fluorinated greenhouse gases must have it leak-checked periodically by a certified person. The interval depends on the refrigerant charge in tonnes of CO₂ equivalent.

Example: 2.8 kg of R410A (GWP 2088) ≈ 5.8 t CO₂e → checked once a year.
